Keith has been a pediatric occupational therapist for 15 years. He believes in a well-rounded approach to help children grow!
He has advanced training working with children who have sensory processing difficulties, is certified in Sensory Integration Praxis Testing (SIPT), and has also completed certification through the Denver STAR Institute. Keith has training in reflex integration along with other certifications in Tomatis, Therapeutic Listening, Interactive Metronome, and Integrated Listening Systems. Keith also has training in Handwriting Without Tears which is a developmentally appropriate approach to fine motor skill development.
Keith enjoys using the S.O.S. approach to feeding which helps to make meals more enjoyable for everyone!
Keith has an advanced level 2 certification in the D.I.R./Floortime model from Profectum. The model focuses on engaging children to foster social-emotional development. This is the heart of his practice. Keith loves to engage children in a fun way!
Keith has also opened an outpatient therapy practice, Growing in Motion, located in Camp Hill, PA.
Tessa earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree and master's in occupational therapy at Alvernia University, where she also minored in psychology. Tessa has clinical experience working with individuals across the lifespan in various inpatient, outpatient, and in-home settings. She has pediatric experience in the school based and community settings, most recently K-5th and 6th-8th grade Autism Support Classrooms. Tessa is passionate about building relationships and supporting children and their families through fun and functional therapy.
When Tessa is not working, she can be found spending time with friends and family, drinking iced coffee, working out, and adventuring with her dog, Pepper Potts.
Raina Beckett holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY. She found her passion to serve others through occupational therapy and graduated from Messiah University with her master’s degree in occupational therapy. Raina has now enjoyed working in the outpatient pediatric setting, elementary classrooms, and pre-schools. She is now excited to work more with families in Early Intervention.
Raina has received advanced training in motor planning and sensory integration. She has enjoyed using the SOS approach to feeding which helps children widen their food choices in a positive playful way. Raina has also begun training in the social-emotional play therapy model, DIR/Floortime. All of Raina’s skills and trainings help her to provide skilled, individualized therapy specific to the needs of each individual child and family.
Raina enjoys spending time on the Yellow Breeches in the summer and hiking with her family throughout central PA. She strives to enhance community involvement through her dedication to volunteering with Operation Wildcat in Mechanicsburg and in her spare time she enjoys cheering for her children at sports events and reading.
Tandi received her bachelor’s degree in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University and earned her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. She has worked with children with disabilities in a school setting and at a day camp for children with special needs. Tandi has a special interest in autism and co-authored a Poster Presentation on this topic for the 2021 AOTA INSPIRE Conference.
Tandi has been trained in the S.O.S approach to feeding and continually seeks out new learning opportunities. As the mother of a child who received Early Intervention services, Tandi brings a unique perspective to her role. She believes in using a strengths-based, collaborative approach to help families enhance their children’s participation in meaningful activities.
Tandi grew up in Latin America and is fluent in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys socializing with her family and friends, hiking, and reading.
Victoria earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Scranton, where she also minored in psychology. Victoria’s passion for working with children with diverse developmental needs began by volunteering in an outpatient pediatric clinic, and was solidified through her clinical experiences in school-based and outpatient settings.
After graduating, Victoria spent 8 months serving in the Mercy Volunteer Corps in Savannah, GA. While volunteering, Victoria was able to advocate for the needs of her clients in a community-based setting and strives to continue to do so in early intervention and outpatient therapy by empowering her patients and their families. Victoria values creating a compassionate and welcoming environment that supports building meaningful relationships with children and their families in order to help children reach their greatest potential.
In her free time, Victoria enjoys yoga, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family, especially if it is over a cup of coffee!
Stacey is a neurodivergent occupational therapist who received her Master's Degree from Towson University. She has worked in transdisciplinary outpatient pediatrics and is trained in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding (level 3), Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, and Feed The Peds®. Additionally, Stacey specializes in AAC, sensory regulation, and family education for Autistic children. Stacey has worked closely with Speech Therapists learning how to use, modify, and integrate AAC and low-tech communication devices into sessions. Stacey is passionate about helping children and families experiencing mealtime challenges and advocating for neurodiversity affirming practices to support children and family live authentic lives. Some additional courses Stacey has taken include: Inclusive approaches to supporting neurodivergent children with feeding challenges including ARFID, Feeding the Child on the Autism Spectrum, Food Scientist Model: SOS Approach to Feeding Adaptation for the School-Age Child, Neurodiversity-Affirming OT Practice: An Autism CE Summit, and Anxious Eaters and Anxious Mealtimes.
Stacey also currently works in Hampstead where she teaches children and adults how to ride horses. During her free time, Stacey loves to ride horses, Latin dance, cook, and spend time with her family and friends.
Sarah Kosenske earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from West Chester University and her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Messiah University. During her graduate studies, Sarah completed research on the perceived needs of occupational therapy in preschool populations and disseminated this research amongst the surrounding central PA community.
Sarah has experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses in an outpatient pediatric clinic. Before coming to early intervention, Sarah worked The Day School at The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh where she developed the skills needed to serve students with complex needs in their least restrictive environment. Sarah is receiving training on the D.I.R./Floortime model which is a play therapy model used to help children with social-emotional growth.
Sarah is returning to central PA to be closer to her family and expand her pediatric OT knowledge in the outpatient and early intervention settings. In her free time, Sarah enjoys collecting and reading books, trying new coffee shops, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and 2 dogs."
Molly received her master's in occupational therapy from Ithaca College in 2019 and has been working in pediatrics ever since. Following graduation, she made the move to California to work in a neonatal intensive care unit and hone her skills in feeding therapy. From there she moved to Washington state to work within the school system and loved it. While out west was beautiful and the activities endless, family and home were calling. She took a brief break to travel for four months over the summer of 2023 and then made the move back to Pennsylvania following. Children have always held a special place in her heart and working with families 1:1 allows her to make sure her clients are excelling even outside of therapy. For fun Molly loves to travel, hike, run, act do Yoga and of course, spend time with the people she loves
Miranda earned both her Bachelor’s in Health Science and Master’s of Occupational Therapy degrees at Saint Francis University, where she also minored in American Sign Language and psychology.
Previously, Miranda has worked as a habilitation aide in the community and at camps. She has volunteered with the Special Olympics and at a local horseback riding center, facilitating therapeutic riding sessions. Miranda has experienced firsthand the importance and benefit of early intervention to her younger brother, inspiring her to become an occupational therapist.
Miranda has had training in the S.O.S Approach to Feeding, Talk Tools feeding therapy, D.I.R./Floortime, and Sensory Integration Intensive course. She believes in a holistic, multi-dimensional approach to treatment, with an understanding that every child deserves an individualized approach specific to their needs. She likes to utilize a play-based and sensory integrative approach tailored to each individual child and family.
In her free time, Miranda enjoys traveling with her husband and son, gardening, cooking, and going on hikes and walks with their two dogs.
Heidi Petschke earned her degree in Occupational Therapy at Utica College in 1987 and has worked in pediatrics ever since. Her career path has included working in NY, WV and TN in addition to PA. She has worked with children and families in early intervention, public and private schools, outpatient clinics and pediatric home health settings. Heidi's greatest professional joy comes from facilitating skills so that children accomplish things they (or others) didn't think they could - and watching families glow with each new milestone they help their children master.
Heidi has specialized training in sensory integration, neurodevelopmental treatment, oral motor development and feeding. She holds certifications in D.I.R./Floortime, Interactive Metronome and Assistive Technology. Heidi has training in Masgutova Neurosensorimotor reflex integration, praxis and motor planning, visual and vestibular interventions and social/pragmatic language and social skill development. Above all, Heidi's approach to practice is driven by the definition of OT - to enhance an individual's engagement in the things they want and need to do in their daily lives.
Outside of work Heidi volunteers with Andrew's Gift and serves on the faculty for their "iPad Days". She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and dogs - especially in the snow! Heidi has three grown children, two son-in-laws and one grandson and lives for the moments when the whole family can gather in one place!
Carly Shaffer earned her Bachelor's degree in Health and Occupation with a minor in Psychology and completed her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy at Elizabethtown College. She has worked in pediatrics for the entirety of her career. Carly specializes in feeding therapy and infant development from her time as a clinician in the NICU and early intervention. She also enjoys working with older children and families in outpatient pediatrics as well.
Carly is a SOFFI (Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants) certified therapist, has completed advanced education on the S.O.S approach to feeding, and is continuing her education through advanced pediatric feeding mentorship. She is skilled in the evaluation/treatment and multidisciplinary collaboration required to support safe and successful feeding progression in infants and children. Carly believes in making meal times positive, safe, and enjoyable for families.
She is also a certified infant massage instructor (CIMI-2) and values bonding and attachment between caregivers and children. Carly has received training in the DIR/Floortime model, sensory integration, reflex integration, interoception, and TMR Tots (Total Motion Release) approach. She believes in providing therapy which supports the whole child and family system while using their individual strengths, values, and interests to guide her intervention.
In her free time Carly enjoys spending time with her husband and dog. She is often found baking sweet treats and sourdough for family and friends.
Hannah attended Elizabethtown College, earning a Bachelor's in Health Sciences with a minor in Family Business and Entrepreneurship, and a Master's in Occupational Therapy. She completed research on entrepreneurship in community-based occupational therapy practice and an alternative approach to feeding therapy for children with sensory processing disorder. During her graduate year, Hannah completed a level II fieldwork rotation at Growing in Motion and is excited to return full-time to begin her career in pediatric occupational therapy.
Hannah always knew her love for working with children would lead her to a career in pediatrics. She has previously worked as a preschool teacher, summer camp counselor, and children’s music coordinator.
Hannah will receive training in the DIR/Floortime model, and she is passionate about building relationships with her clients as a foundation for growth through play-based intervention. In her free time, Hannah enjoys reading, baking, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.
Amber Stika is an Elizabethtown College alumna, where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in health and occupation with a minor in interfaith leadership studies, as well as her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. During her graduate year, Amber completed research on the importance of recess for the educational experience of children, and presented at the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association’s annual conference.
Amber’s love for working with children with developmental challenges began in high school, where she started a club to build bridges and relationships between students in both the special and regular education programs. Amber has worked in outpatient pediatric programs for children with a variety of diagnosis.
Amber is currently receiving advanced training in the DIR/Floortime therapy model. This model focuses on the social-emotional growth of children through play therapy. Amber feels that she is a kid at heart, and loves to build meaningful relationships with children through their preferred occupation of play! In her free time, Amber loves to read, spend time outside, or play with her crazy doggy, Lillie!
Laurie Suchy earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bloomsburg University and her master’s in occupational therapy from Chatham College. She began her pediatric career at the Hershey Medical Center working as part of the acute and rehabilitation teams and then transitioning to pediatric outpatient and the Feeding Clinic Teams. After 6 years at HMC, Laurie began working in the local school districts providing school-based OT for students in kindergarten through 12th grades. While working in the school therapy environment, Laurie also worked in Early Intervention with children, their families, and their team.
Laurie has additional training in sensory processing and integration, neurodevelopmental treatment, feeding, visual motor and perceptual skills, handwriting, and behavior. She has also completed courses in DIR/Floortime and play and truly believes in a child and family centered approach.
In her free time, Laurie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, getting in a good daily workout, hiking, and beach time. She also thoroughly enjoys watching her son play ice hockey, playing with her 2 Yorkie pups and good cup of cold brew coffee.
Alyson attended LaRoche College to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, and earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from University of the Sciences. While earning her Master’s degree Alyson participated in an independent study that developed sensory friendly environments for children and their families to attend events like The Pittsburgh Ballet's, The Nutcracker.
Over the years Alyson has spent her time volunteering with the Special Olympics and more recently has volunteered her services at a therapeutic horseback riding center where Hippotherapy is used to treat children with a variety of disorders.
Alyson believes in taking a holistic approach to working with children and their families to develop the best course of treatment for everyone involved. Alyson has training in the S.O.S approach to feeding, which utilizes a combination of assessing and developing oral motor skills in conjunction with taking sensory aspects into considerations and making feeding fun! Alyson has also received additional education in sensory processing and is trained in the Wilbarger brushing protocol for increased sensory regulation through deep pressure. Alyson also has completed several levels of courses in the D.I.R./Floortime approach, which focuses on engaging children to nurture their social-emotional development and “meet them where they’re at” in development.
In her free time Alyson enjoys being outdoors, crafting, baking, spending time with her husband, daughter, two dogs, family and friends.
Developmental Therapists
These are the “catch all” therapists. They are skilled in helping children with language, cognition, social-emotional, and physical development.
Christine received her Bachelor's Degree from Elizabethtown College with a dual certification in Special Education n-12 and Regular Education k-6. She earned her Master’s degree in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University. Christine has her Level II teaching certificate and has been a teacher for 12 years. Christine started her career at Millersburg Area School District, where she taught kindergarten through fifth grade Emotional Support at Lenkerville Elementary. She continued her educational career in the South Middleton School District, teaching sixth grade learning support and earned an Excellence in Education Award given by The United States Army War College for professional commitment to excellence in education. She later taught 8th grade learning support at Central Dauphin School District before accepting a full time position at Commonwealth Charter Academy, where she currently teaches fifth grade special education.
During her twelve years of teaching, she gained the skills necessary to educate students at all skill levels. Christine can provide a strong foundation for working with students with emotional and behavioral disorders. Her strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to foster lifelong learning and connections with her students and families are keys to building successful learners.
In her spare time, Christine looks forward to relaxing and spending time with her husband and two young children. She enjoys staying active with workouts and soccer. You can often find Christine with a good book or working on some type of art project or craft. Going to the beach or lounging at the pool are two of her favorite pastimes!
Kelly loves to develop relationships with children and their families and finds happiness in making a difference! Her passion for infants and young children started at the age of ten when she became the neighborhood babysitter. Her love for children led her to obtain an undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education from Cabrini College. Kelly started her career in early intervention teaching in a specialized preschool classroom, as well as working with children and their families in home-based sessions. After several years in early intervention, Kelly chose to stay home and raise her four children. Once her youngest child started school, Kelly resumed her career and jumped back into early intervention.
Kelly enjoys supporting families and helping them understand the social, emotional and cognitive development of their child. She believes that children learn best through play at home and in community settings. She enjoys helping families guide their children toward important milestones at their own individual pace, meeting their children where they are developmentally and building off those skills. Her goal is to empower families and to provide them with the strategies they need to best support their children. Kelly always reminds parents to celebrate it all, from the little to the big, the clapping hands to the running, it all counts!
In her free time, she can be found spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren making memories!
Kendall Riegert has her undergraduate degree in Early and Elementary Education from Towson University and obtained an M.S. in Counseling from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. During her twenty-two year career, Kendall has worked with children in a variety of settings including public schools, preschools, alternative classrooms, and Early Childhood behavior intervention programs.
She started her career teaching in Baltimore County as an elementary school teacher. In 2006 she began teaching in Carroll County Public Schools in an alternative school as an early childhood classroom teacher, working with children who displayed violence, insubordination, and classroom disruption. Recently she provided mental health consultation to early education programs to enhance childcare services for children who exhibit social, emotional or behavioral concerns as well as work with the parents to offer strategies, resources and support to develop resilient children.
Kendall believes that a large part of a child’s success revolves around developing good working relationships with the families and other educational service providers. She also has a vested interest in working with parents as partners in order to find the best strategies and practices to promote their child’s successes.
In her free time, Kendall enjoys gardening, reading or watching a good movie. Above all, she relishes the time she spends with her husband, three children and miniature dachshund.
Yassael was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He graduated from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, P.R. in 2020 with a B.A. in Speech and Language Therapy. Yassael’s clinical experience includes working with children and adolescents. He has experience providing speech and language therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorders, apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, and expressive/receptive language delays, along with education support in the areas of grammar and reading in Spanish and English, and Math.
Yassael believes that building meaningful relationships with children and their families helps increase the opportunities of growth and independence.
During his free time, Yassael enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on trips around the world, practicing and learning languages, going to the beach and drinking lots of coffee
Jaclyn has loved working with children from the early age of 12, when she started her own “summer day camp” for neighborhood children! Since then, her love for education and teaching led her down the path to working with children with special needs in many different settings. She has taught and worked with families and children, ages birth to 10 years old. Jaclyn taught in an Early Learning Center working with infants and toddlers on basic life skills such as feeding, fine and gross motor skills, listening skills and age appropriate developmental skills. She has also worked as a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) to help support children with social and emotional challenges fully engage in their school and community settings. For ten years, Jaclyn was a Special Education Teacher for students ranging in disabilities from autism spectrum disorders, communication disorders, and mild mental impairment.
She believes that young children learn best in a variety to settings, including home and community and with family support. She believes that children learn best through play and interactions in their natural setting. She also believes in the importance of daily routines to establish a safe and secure environment for children. Her goal is to meet the individual, developmental needs of each child and to provide families with the strategies they need to support their children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Jaclyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Millersville University. She continued at Millersville to earn her Master’s Degree in Special Education and has her Level II PA Teaching Certificate.
In her free time, Jaclyn can be found with her three kids and husband. Together, they enjoy trips to the beach and skiing. Jaclyn also enjoys running, practicing pilates and yoga, gardening and reading a good book.
Speech-Language Pathologists

Marika earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Disorders from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, and has been a speech-language pathologist for almost 25 years. She has primarily worked in the preschool and school settings, serving children with autism, receptive and expressive communication disorders, articulation disorders, augmentative communication needs, and multiple disabilities. A desire to work with younger children and their families led her to move to early intervention, and she loves to make therapy both fun and functional while using play-based strategies and natural environments to increase a child’s communication skills.
Marika and her husband just saw their last child graduate from high school and are learning to navigate the “empty nest.” She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, reading, taking on new adventures, and trying to beat her family and friends in a fantasy football league.
Jamie received her Bachelor of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania in 2007. After graduation, Jamie began work with the geriatric population, working with older adults for 10 years. In 2017, she enrolled in Eastern New Mexico University where she began pursuing her master’s degree in Communication Disorders.
Jamie fell in love with the pediatric population after completing clinical rotations in various settings. In 2019 Jamie received her Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders. She followed her passion and began working in early intervention. Jamie shares that she enjoys collaborating with, motivating, and supporting families to promote successful therapy. Her areas of interest and special training include treating children with motor speech difficulties, feeding, and oral motor development.
In her free time, Jamie enjoys reading, hiking, spoiling her dog, and spending time with family and friends.
Molly earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania.
Molly has clinical experience working with pediatric and adult clients. She has primarily worked with preschool and school-aged children, serving children with a variety of speech and language impairments. She has experience working with children with autism, expressive and receptive language difficulties, articulation and phonological disorders, augmentative communication needs, and childhood apraxia of speech. She is passionate about working with the pediatric population and loves making therapy functional and fun!
In her free time, Molly enjoys hiking, reading, playing tennis, spending time with her family and friends, and spoiling her silver lab (Mizlee).
Max received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 2018 and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020 from Bloomsburg University. After graduation, Sara began working with students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th Grade within various school districts and in-home settings. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
While working with families of her students, she found a passion in building strong and positive relationships within the family unit to help support the communication needs of the child. Her two daughters, years of fostering children with developmental delays, and work within home and school settings has cultivated a love and interest for early intervention. She feels early intervention provides the opportunity to work directly with the family unit in a personal and more natural environment through play-based therapy that is meaningful and impactful. Max’s areas of special interest include fluency/stuttering, speech sound disorders and expressive/receptive language disorders.
She draws joy from being an active participant in life, as well as being a source of encouragement and positivity to others around her. Sara enjoys spending her free time with her daughters, buying plants/trying to keep them alive, making messes (art), finding new coffee shops and playing with her dog, Harry and bunny, Bingo.
Kayce graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She continued her education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Kayce has a strong background working with individuals of all ages. However, she has always known that the pediatric setting was where she was meant to be. Kayce has previous experience in a pediatric outpatient setting working with 2-21 year olds. She has treated a variety of speech and language disorders to include; articulation, phonological disorders, auditory processing, pragmatics, selective mutism, childhood apraxia of speech, dysarthria, and more. She also really enjoys working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Kayce loves to develop meaningful relationships with not only her patients, but their families as well. She believes everyone communicates differently and wants her patients and their families to feel heard and accepted. She strives to make speech therapy something her patients look forward to each week!
Aside from her passion of being a speech-language pathologist, Kayce enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and going to the gym and concerts.
Megan Gehman graduated from Temple University in 2017 with a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and the University of Maryland, College Park in 2019 with a M.A. in Speech Language Pathology. Megan holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
She is a speech and language therapist who has clinical experience in public schools, private schools, and outpatient therapy. Megan is familiar with servicing children in structured settings such as schools and clinics in addition to naturalistic settings such as in the home. She has experience with children ages 3-18. Since starting her career, she has grown passionate about Assistive Technology and giving access to communication for all. In recent years, Megan has worked in K-5th grade Autism Support Classrooms. She believes that everyone has and deserves a voice. It is her mission to help individuals find their voice and use it functionally.
Megan has participated in extensive training in American Sign Language, LAMP Words for Life, Proloquo2go, multidisciplinary collaboration, and Natural Language Acquisition and Gestalt Language Processing.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys cooking for friends and family, gardening, & spending time hiking.
Megan Gregoire earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University and earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University in Maryland. She started her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a subacute/skilled nursing setting. After ten years and following the birth of her second child, Megan decided to transition into the area of early intervention after experiencing feeding issues with her own children. She feels these experiences gave her a better understanding of some of the challenges that parents face and a desire to provide services to others to assist and support families facing similar issues.
Megan holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She has received training in Vital Stim which targets swallow function through neuromuscular stimulation.
Megan enjoys traveling to tropical destinations, eating Thai food, crafting, and spending time with her husband and children.
Devon currently holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has been a member of ASHA for over the last 4 years. Devon continues to educate herself in the most effective evidenced based treatments to provide the utmost care to all her patients. She strives to make speech therapy fun and engaging for the child, while educating parents and caregivers on strategies that can be easily implemented throughout their daily routines.
Devon received both her B.S in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her M.A. in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Florida. Throughout graduate school, Devon worked as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant traveling to various schools providing treatment to grades K-12th. Since graduation, Devon has served both pediatric and adult populations and has greatly expanded her knowledge in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. While working at a private outpatient clinic serving children ages birth to twenty-one, Devon became certified in VitalStim, a treatment utilizing neuromuscular stimulation as an adjunct to conventional swallowing treatments. She has also been trained in the use of PROMPT method for children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech and other motor speech disorders, SOS Approach to Feeding and LAMP Words for Life to aid children who benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
Tara received her Bachelor of Science in AUD/SLP from Bloomsburg University in 2018 and her Master of Science in Education in Speech-Language Pathology from Monmouth University in 2020. After graduation, Tara began working with the school-aged population at the elementary level. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
Tara found a passion for early intervention when treating young clients in her university clinic during graduate school. She wanted to explore the early intervention setting by pursuing part-time work outside of her full-time school position, providing her an opportunity to work with a variety of pediatric populations. She enjoys working with preverbal toddlers and showing families the building blocks of how to elicit intentional communication from their child. Tara can adapt to daily routines and incorporate strategies so families don't have to "reinvent the wheel" to show that natural communication can be achieved everywhere and anywhere.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys nature, walking her dogs, catching up with friends, and reading.
Stefanie earned her B.S. in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Ithaca College and her M.S. in Clinical Speech Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University. Stefanie spent some time as a traveling therapist serving several school districts and skilled nursing facilities in Arizona and Pennsylvania. Once she began work in early intervention, she truly found her niche. Her areas of experience in this setting include but are not limited to receptive and expressive language delay, speech sound disorders/intelligibility, autism spectrum disorder, cleft lip/palate, fluency, and multiple disabilities. Stefanie has serviced young children and their loving families utilizing their natural environments and functional activities of daily life. She has seen significant improvement for her EI families with the use of play-based therapy, coaching, and total communication, including American Sign Language, Picture Exchange Communication (PECS), and visual aids to help these children express themselves.
Stefanie is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) with her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Stefanie strives to strengthen and enrich parent-child interaction and make therapy fun and doable in everyday routine for her families.
Stefanie enjoys exploring with her husband and little guy as well as ice skating, Latin dancing, playing with her nieces and nephews, and serving her church.
Annie holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Bloomsburg University, Pennsylvania. She is a certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Annie has been practicing as a speech-language pathologist for three years. During this time, she has worked full-time in school settings with primary and secondary students and part-time in medical settings with adults. Her expertise includes working with children who have a variety of speech and language disorders, such as articulation and phonological impairments, childhood apraxia of speech, expressive and receptive language disorders, auditory processing disorders, swallowing and feeding issues, fluency disorders, cleft palate, and more. She has a special affinity for working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, those with Down Syndrome, multiple disabilities, and learning disabilities.
Annie also has extensive experience with a variety of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) methods, including communication devices, communication boards, visuals, gestures, and more.
In the medical setting, Annie has gained valuable experience working with adults suffering from cognitive, language, and swallowing disorders due to various etiologies.
Annie is deeply passionate about her role as a speech-language pathologist and is excited to begin serving the early intervention population. She thrives on collaborating with families and colleagues to make therapy sessions as functional and interactive as possible. In early intervention, she aims to enhance communication skills that will contribute to positive outcomes as children grow and develop.
Leah earned her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her M.S. in Speech Language Pathology, with a minor in Social Work at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She has clinical experience in the school setting with AAC, autism spectrum disorder, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency, and articulation disorders. She has also worked with adults and the geriatric population in a skilled nursing facility where she obtained experience with dysphagia, traumatic brain injury, and dysarthria.
Leah’s favorite part about working with children and adults is collaborating with families so that they can build a relationship and feel comfortable giving input that is the most beneficial to everyone. She loves to make therapy fun so that it is enjoyable and doesn’t feel like work. She discovered her desire to work with the 0-3 population because she believes that setting the foundation for success early on is the most important thing for children. She became interested in dysphagia during her schooling and gaining experience with it only made that interest grow.
In her free time, Leah loves reading books, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Brock Meadath is a dedicated professional with a passion for speech-language pathology and the performing arts. He holds a diverse educational background, having earned his AA in Performing Arts-Theatre from Harrisburg Area Community College, his BA in Theatre and Speech, Language, Hearing Science from Temple University, and his MA in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Iowa.
A longtime member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Voice Foundation, Brock is known for his commitment to lifelong learning. He has been recognized with multiple ASHA ACE awards for his dedication to continuing education. Brock actively contributes to the field through his role on the Voice Foundation’s Presentation Outreach Committee, where he serves as a presentation coach for speakers at the annual Care of the Professional Voice Symposium.
With a wealth of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist across various settings, Brock has provided care to individuals of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations. His expertise and dedication have made a positive impact on the lives of many.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Brock finds joy in listening to a diverse range of music, attending live performances, and cherishing moments with his wife and son. Brock is the artistic director for Brockin’ Out Cancer, a series of benefit concerts that raise money for Vickie’s Angel Foundation (a Central PA charity that helps local families fighting cancer). His commitment to both his professional and personal interests reflects his well-rounded nature and passion for enriching experiences.
Diana received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University in the Schreyer Honors College and her master’s degree from Temple University.
Diana began her career 14 years ago working with adults in rehab and nursing facilities. 4 years ago, she switched to pediatrics. Having two young children of her own helps Diana to relate with parents. Diana strives help families incorporate strategies into pre-existing (but slightly modified) family routines so parents do not have to find extra time for “speech.”
Diana has received advanced training through the Autism Navigator program and is certified in Hanen’s “It Takes Two to Talk” program.
In her free time, Diana enjoys exploring new places with her kids, entertaining, Penn State Football and traveling.
Melanie graduated in 2017 from Towson University with a M.S in Speech Language Pathology. She has primarily worked with school aged students from Kindergarten to transition age with varying communication disorders.
Special areas of interest are AAC, neurodiversity affirming practices, and child led therapy.
In her spare time, she enjoys adventuring with her two year old and husband, working in the garden, and relearning through the eyes of children.
Jessica Rogers is a dedicated speech-language pathologist at Early Bird Therapy, specializing in pediatric care. She earned her Master’s degree from Lebanon Valley College, where she developed a deep passion for working with children. With a strong commitment to helping young minds grow and thrive, Jessica has made it her mission to support the communication and developmental needs of her clients.
In her role at Early Bird Therapy, Jessica utilizes evidence-based practices to framework personalized therapy that fosters growth within the children that she sees. Her approach is compassionate and family-centered, ensuring that each child receives the individualized care they deserve. Jessica is dedicated to empowering families by providing them with the strategies to help their child.
Outside of her professional life, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors, often taking long walks to appreciate the beauty of nature. This love for the outdoors reflects her belief in the importance of a balanced, holistic lifestyle, which she brings into her therapeutic practices.
Katie graduated from Duquesne University with her B.S. in Health Sciences in 2020, and continued at Duquesne to earn her M.S. in Speech Language Pathology in 2021.
Katie’s clinical experience includes working with clients from preschool to geriatric age. She has enjoyed gaining experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, aphasia, dysphagia, articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, and stuttering.
Katie believes that relationship building is a strong proponent of success and progress in early intervention, and loves to involve parents, siblings, carepartners, etc. into her therapy. She believes that positive interactions create strong pathways for success.
Outside of work, Katie likes to watch sports, host dinner parties, spend time with family, read books, and peruse local markets.
Kaitlin earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Disorders from California University of Pennsylvania, and has been a certified speech-language pathologist for almost 10 years. She has primarily worked in the preschool and school-aged settings, providing therapy to students grades K-5; however, a desire to support the bond between families and children drew her back into early intervention.
Kaitlin has a vast knowledge of speech and language disorders including apraxia, fluency, autism, language delays, and cleft palate. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in feeding and augmentative communication to better support families.
Her goal as a speech therapist is to empower families with tools to support children developmentally. She believes in building mutual respect and establishing rapport.

Holly Sottiaux earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders as well as her Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Holly has spent the majority of her career working with pediatrics and has experience providing itinerant and outpatient therapy.
Making therapy both fun and functional is important to Holly. Holly enjoys working with her clients and families on what is important to them - whether this involves using a strong /p/ sound when talking about Peppa Pig, learning the figurative language needed to understand their favorite Youtuber's jokes, or finding a way to communicate basic needs and wants with Augmentative/Alternative methods. As a reader herself, Holly also enjoys incorporating literature into her sessions as appropriate.
In her spare time, Holly enjoys spending time with her partner, two rabbits, and hamster.
Madison earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University.
Her clinical experience includes working with toddlers, school-aged children, adults, and the geriatric population. Madison has clinical experience in a private school setting where she has worked with students experiencing educational and behavioral challenges. She has also worked in private practice with patients of all ages. Madison’s clinical experiences consisted of several pediatric populations including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism spectrum disorder, articulation disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, developmental delays, traumatic brain injuries, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency, social communication disorders, and emotional disorders.
Madison loves building strong connections with families, caregivers, and children to assist in the development of functional and relevant goals. Her clinical experiences included working with an interprofessional team of therapists, counselors, educators, and specialists. She enjoys working closely with others in the child’s life to strengthen their communication skills.
Madison’s hobbies include shopping, drawing, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She is looking forward to helping others by applying and expanding her knowledge as a clinician.
Kylee Yetter earned her Bachelor of Arts at Temple University and Master of Arts at the University of Pittsburgh. She holds her Pennsylvania teaching certificate, Certificate of Clinical Competence and is an active member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Kylee has spent the majority of her career in Philadelphia where she worked in the School District of Philadelphia, the 0-3-year-old Early Intervention Program and the Elwyn preschool program for ages 3-5. Within these varying work environments, Kylee has experience with children with diverse needs. She has provided therapy for children and families to target receptive and expressive language delays, speech sound and/or phonological disorders, fluency disorders, and pragmatic language disorders. Kylee has always enjoyed finding strategies that best suit her families’ and children’s unique needs and helping them to implement them into their everyday routine. She has worked closely with other therapists on a child’s team within both classroom and home-based settings to best help her children reach their goals in a multidimensional approach.
Kylee strives to use evidence-based approaches in a simple and fun way within her sessions. She enjoys working closely within a child’s natural environment to strengthen the child’s communication skills with the people they love the most.

Alisha received both her undergraduate degree in Health Science and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Lebanon Valley College (LVC). During her undergraduate coursework, she also majored in Spanish. She studied abroad in Spain while in college. Alisha completed her graduate research, that was published, on early participation experiences in young children with disabilities.
Alisha has been working as a Pediatric Physical Therapist since graduation. She has worked as a school-based Physical Therapist and an Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapist. She has experience working with children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, arthrogryposis, toe walking, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, and other neurological and genetic disorders. Alisha has experience with pediatric durable medical equipment and orthotics. She also has experience with pediatric aquatic physical therapy.
Alisha enjoys pediatrics because intervening at a young age allows for a lasting impact on a child’s life. She makes it a priority to help every child reach their full potential. She believes in making physical therapy fun so it feels like play, not work!
In her free time, Alisha enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two French bulldogs (Luna and Ruby)! She enjoys hiking, running, binging a good show, or traveling to explore different places!
Brittani received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Misericordia University in 2014, with her doctoral seminar focusing on adolescents with cerebral palsy. Her clinical experience spans from orthopedics, women’s health, and geriatrics to vestibular rehabilitation and pediatrics in both Pennsylvania and Kentucky. While she has worked with patients from age 0 to 103 years old, she now focuses on children ages 0-3 in Early Intervention.
She is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor through the World Institute for Nurturing Communication and has extended education in torticollis and fascial release. Making therapy fun through purposeful play and creative interventions to help children and families meet their goals is her top priority!
Outside of helping families, Brittani can usually be found chasing around her rambunctious toddler with her husband while trying to keep her Catahoula Leopard Dog and kitten entertained. She and her family have recently ventured into raising backyard chickens and try to fit in a few good camping trips in a year!
Kiersten Sell received both her undergraduate and doctorate degree from Lebanon Valley College (LVC). She completed her graduate research on the effects of aquatic therapy on children with an Autism Spectrum diagnosis.
Kiersten has been working as a pediatric physical therapist since her graduation. She has experience with a variety of pediatric diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, torticollis, toe walking, spina bifida, arthrogryposis, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, osteogenesis imperfecta, muscular dystrophy, and various neurological and genetic diagnoses. Kiersten believes therapy should be fun and functional!
She has received additional education in aquatic therapy, allowing her to use the benefits (and fun!) of water to promote strength gains, improved functional mobility, and to facilitate the achievement of age appropriate gross motor milestones. She has recently become a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI-2), allowing her to further connect with her clients and their families to facilitate the best outcomes.
In her free time, Kiersten enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She enjoys hiking, shopping, being outdoors, and traveling the world.
Alana received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University and her doctorate degree of Physical Therapy from Drexel University. During her graduate studies, she helped launch an integrative yoga program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder within the Bucks County Intermediate Unit. She has clinical experience in orthopedics, inpatient neurological rehabilitation, and pediatrics across multiple different settings. However, she now focuses on pediatrics in the early intervention and outpatient settings.
Alana has been working in pediatrics since graduation. She has experience working with children with developmental delays, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, among other pediatric diagnoses. Alana is a firm believer in making therapy fun through purposeful play and creative interventions!
In her free time, Alana enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially living up to the “fun aunt” title she holds with her nephew. She loves spending time outdoors and exploring areas around her new home in the greater Harrisburg area.
Pearl received both her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Lebanon Valley College. Pearl’s variety of clinical experiences allowed her to work with all age groups in outpatient clinics and a rehabilitative hospital. She then focused on pediatrics through early intervention and outpatient services.
Pearl has experience working with children who have developmental milestone delays, toe-walking, torticollis and plagiocephaly, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, cerebral palsy, and additional neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. Her favorite part about working with children and their families is seeing how much growth and progress can occur not only for the child, but for the family as a whole. Pearl loves to be creative and have therapy easily implemented as a natural part of any day.
Outside of work, Pearl enjoys spending most of her time outdoors hiking, kayaking and traveling with her husband Adam and their golden mountain dog, Rory! She also enjoys cooking and baking for her friends and family!
Carmon received both her undergraduate degree in Health Science and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Lebanon Valley College (LVC). She also received her minor in Spanish. She completed her final clinical rotation at Cincinnati children’s hospital where she found her love for the pediatric population.
Carmon has been working in pediatrics since she graduated. She has experience in the PICU, orthopedic units, oncology and trach/vent units in inpatient settings and has spent time in outpatient pediatrics as well. She has knowledge in working with a variety of pediatric diagnoses including cerebral palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, torticollis, arthrogryposis, Down syndrome, osteogenesis imperfecta, muscular dystrophy and other various neurological and genetic diagnoses as well as sensory needs. Carmon is also a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and attends car seat checks to assist families with ensuring the safety of their little ones in the car.
Outside of physical therapy, Carmon is also very involved with the Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association (CATRA) where she is a volunteer and Board Member. She assists in riding lessons to help riders gain more confidence and strength to carry over into their daily life. Carmon has been riding horses since she was 4 years old, and she continues to train and show her own horses on her small farm. If Carmon is not at a horse show, you can find her camping with her family and riding ATV trails.
Alexa received both her undergraduate degree in Health Science and her doctorate degree of Physical Therapy from Lebanon Valley College (LVC).
Alexa has been working as a pediatric physical therapist since her graduation. She has experience working with children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, hypoxic encephalopathy, Down Syndrome, Phalen McDermid Syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, and various neurological and genetic disorders. She has also received additional education in D.I.R./Floortime play therapy model. This model uses strategies to help engage children. Alexa is trained in TMR Tots (Total Motion Release) approach. This approach uses specific movement to help with children’s alignment and can be very effective in treating torticollis. Alexa is trained in the integration of primitive reflexes, orthotic use, and is certified in Infant Massage Therapy.
Alexa desires to improve the health and wellness of children at an early age and to have a lasting impact on their lives. She is focused on helping each child develop their skills and above all, making therapy fun!
In her free time, Alexa enjoys spending time with friends, family (especially her niece and nephew), and her two dogs (Yoshi and Bruno)! She enjoys running, hiking, playing soccer, trying new recipes, and watching ice hockey or a good show with her fiancé.

Mary Beth Brown earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies at the University of Maryland, with a concentration in Healthcare Administration. Hailing from Annapolis, MD, she is the mother of two awesome “big kids”, ages 16 and 12. They keep her, and her husband Jeff, busy with sports and activities.
Mary Beth has extensive experience in medical administration. Having managed two medical practices in Annapolis: a large primary care pediatric practice and, later, a physical medicine and rehabilitation practice. She also has additional experience in orthopedics, mental health and is a certified pharmacy technician.
On the personal/parenthood side, both Mary Beth’s kids have received important therapies which lend her specific experiences that are useful at Growing In Motion. They have both “graduated” from therapy and are doing great! She understands the needs of the families our practice servess and knows how truly important and life-changing therapy services are!
Lauren Campbell earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Millersville University. She has taught in a variety of school settings across a variety of ages and abilities. One of her favorite parts of teaching (outside of being in the classroom with the kids) was building relationships with the parents. She understands the stresses and struggles parents face, and celebrates with them when a new skill is attained!
Throughout her teaching career, she worked at a private school for children with Autism, and collaborated with speech, occupational, and physical therapists regularly to deliver the best behavioral and academic programming to her students. After having children, she ventured into the preschool world and partnered with CAIU staff to create an inclusive and engaging preschool program.
She has always been interested in meeting the needs of others and can’t wait to help match your child with our wonderful therapists!
She has two girls and a dog that keep her busy in her spare time: doing crafts (not with the dog!), hiking, swimming, board games, movie nights, dancing around, and chauffeuring the kids to their activities.

Stephanie attended Shippensburg University, completing her undergraduate degree in Human Environmental Geography. She has worked in the office administration and customer service field in some capacity for most of her post college years and is currently undertaking a very different role as a first time mom!
As a very passionate "people person", Stephanie enjoys her role as New Client Coordinator and hopes to make the scheduling process as seamless as possible for our new clients and their families.
Outside of work Stephanie spends the majority of her time with her very active 7 month old, and with any leftover time she loves to thrift, adventure with her husband and will never say no to a good cup of coffee.

Amber received her bachelor's Degree from York College in Psych. She has 7 years experience working as an early intervention service coordinator. Amber enjoyed working directly with families and providers in EI as a service coordinator and she does miss that sometimes. However, she is happy that she has stayed in the EI field helping therapists coordinate with families. In her new position Amber is able to work remotely and stay home with her young daughter.
In her free time, Amber likes to spend time with my family, read and spend time outside hikin,camping, snowboarding and rock climbing (although she doesn't have much time for that stuff anymore due to having a 1 year old!)
Sara Parker has an undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Master's degree from Temple University. She has over 8 years experience as an occupational therapist and 4 years experience as a Mom!
Sara has received advanced education on the S.O.S. approach to feeding, which she uses to help children with feeding and mealtime challenges. This play-based approach assists children to overcome sensory, motor, and behavioral difficulties associated with food. Sara has also received additional education on sensory processing. She is trained in the Wilbarger brushing technique and uses this when children require calming deep pressure input.
Sara spent 6 years becoming lymphedema certified and has trained with some of the best lymphedema therapists in the country. She is also certified in brain injury rehabilitation.
When Sara is not working, she enjoys running, spending time with her family and raising her 3 beautiful girls!
Kristy has been a teacher of elementary aged students for over 15 years. She has an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Kristy also received a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Pennsylvania State University. She holds teaching certificates in both Pennsylvania and Virginia.
As a teacher, Kristy has been a classroom teacher in grades K-4. After 10 years in the classroom, she became an English Language Learner teacher. She has been trained in many best practices to meet the needs of many different learners. She spends time tutoring after school and participates in various school committees.
In her spare time, Kristy enjoys running, listening to music and spending time with family in friends. She currently lives in Washington, DC but will always call Pennsylvania home.
Mentorship Staff
The staff at My Therapy Tree realize the need to be lifelong learners. We strive to provide the most effective therapy for our children. Through the use of video conferencing and onsite mentorship, our therapists are supported so they can reflect, learn, and continue to grow. All therapists are also involved in learning the DIR/Floortime model. This model provides a framework for treatment that considers a child and family's individual differences, developmental level of the child, and importance of relationships in their day to day interactions.
Rosie began her career as a Pediatric Physical Therapist in 1999. Her varied employment history spans from hospital-based pediatrics in the NICU and outpatient, to school PT, early intervention, private practice, university teaching, and even community health and wellness outreach promoting healthy infant and toddler development. As an APTA Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric PT, Rosie stays up to date on the latest evidence-based intervention and treatment strategies.
Special interests include infants and children with former prematurity, torticollis and/or plagiocephaly, toe walking, parent-child interaction and engagement, and working with children and families who have gross motor challenges as well as sensory and/or behavior concerns. Rosie has expertise in utilizing adjuncts to care such as kineseotape and orthotics to promote healthy postural alignment and movement patterns in developing infants and children.
Rosie loves city life in Philadelphia as well as hiking and camping and taking in nature with her husband and son born in 2011. She relishes in working with families together as a team toward the infant or child's personal goals!
Nicole Blanchard - Speech-Language Pathologist/Clinical Mentor
Nicole is a licensed speech-language pathologist. She obtained her Bachelor of Science at Emerson College and her Master of Arts at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Nicole has worked with children with speech and language needs in early intervention as well as in private practice and private school settings since 2011. Her clinical interests include early language development, motor speech disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and caregiver coaching/training. Nicole is Hanen certified and has completed PROMPT training.
Nicole believes it is important to consider the child's sensory and motor systems when addressing his or her speech and language needs and loves collaborating with a team of qualified therapists whenever possible.
In her free time, Nicole likes trying trendy work outs and cooking new foods. She loves traveling to new places and re-visiting her favorites (Portugal). Nicole lives in Philadelphia with her husband Jason who is a software developer.
Jenna is a licensed occupational therapist who has focused her career on working with children ranging from birth through 10 years of age. Since obtaining her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree in 2012, she has worked with children in a variety of settings including homes, preschools, and specialized center based programs. She also has a private practice in center city Philadelphia.
Jenna has advanced training in feeding therapy. She has completed SOS feeding therapy, AEIOU approach to feeding, Talk Tools feeding therapy, and she has successfully designed and implemented a feeding therapy program in a special needs school. Jenna also has advanced training in postural reflexes/reflex integration, sensory integration, and Handwriting Without Tears. She has recently completed certification in the D.I.R./Floortime model from Profectum and believes in a play based approach in order to treat the whole child. Jenna also values parent coaching as well as professional staff development, which she has provided for several preschools in Philadelphia.
When Jenna is not working, she enjoys Pilates, gardening, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. Jenna lives in Philadelphia with her cat Lucy Bacon.

Gioia has focused her 20+ year career as an occupational therapist working with children birth to 21 years. She has extensive experience working with children of varying abilities and in a variety of settings including private practice, public/private schools, preschools/day cares as well as home settings. Gioia’s passion lies in evaluating children, especially those with Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). She is energized when she can talk to others about occupational therapy and the impact that OT can have on a child’s life. Gioia is a firm supporter in treating the whole child and believes every child has the potential to learn when supported appropriately.
Gioia is committed to training students and mentoring new therapists. She has led various workshops, trainings and in-services on the topic of sensory processing to both parents and professionals and has presented to undergraduate occupational therapy students and high school students. Gioia has supervised both Level 1 and Level 2 occupational therapy students and has completed the Fieldwork Educators Certificate Program (FWECP).
She is certified in administering and interpreting the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) and has earned a Basic Certificate of Completion in DIR/Floortime from The Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning (ICDL). She is trained in Therapeutic Listening and Advanced Therapeutic Listening and collected data that was used for a case study that is published in the book, Listening with the Whole Body. Gioia has been trained in MNRI Dynamic and Postural Reflex Integration and MNRI Tactile Integration from the Svetlana Masgutova Educational Institute. She is certified in Interactive Metronome (IM), an evidence-based assessment and training tool that measures and improves Neurotiming. She has trained in Handwriting Without Tear and The Alert Program and has attended numerous sensory processing courses.
Gioia lives in the Greater Philadelphia area with her husband and their four children. When she is not working, she enjoys taking day trips with her family, cooking and baking, especially new recipes and relaxing with a cup of hot tea.
