0-3 months
- Able to coordinate suck, swallow, and breathe
- Able to lifts and turn head from side to side when lying on stomach

3-6 months
- Sucks thumb, hand, or pacifier
- Rolls over (both front to back and back to front)
- Sitting with a little support

- Swallows purees with appropriate lip closure

- Indicates "yes" or "no" to response questions
- Demonstrates use of everyday items
- Separates from caregiver in familiar setting without crying
- Stirs with spoon

- Can squat and stand again while maintaining balance
- Creeps backwards down steps
- Fusses when diaper needs to be changed
18-24 months
- Feeds self with spoon
- Can imitate vertical, horizontal, and circular lines on a paper
- Asks for help when needed
- Able to match pictures and sort shapes
- Uses two word phrases
24-30 months
- Takes off socks and shoes
- Jumps with feet together
- Recognizes happy and sad emotions
- Can tell own age
- Identifies common objects
30-36 months
- Pours drink into a cup with a little help
- Can balance on one foot for a couple seconds
- Demonstrating need for independence
- Can do a 3-4 piece puzzle
- Understands some "W" questions
